Composé par les frères Muguruza, Iñigo (basse) et Fermin (chant et guitare), et Treku Armendariz (batterie), ce groupe mélangeant le rock, le reggae, le ska et l'énergie punk  a fait
connaître le rock basque.

Le groupe naît en 1983 à Irun, au Pays basque. Au fur et à mesure de son ascension, son engagement pour la reconnaissance du Pays basque se renforce, et les chansons en basque se font plus
nombreuses. Leur principale influence sont les Clash, dont ils reprennent « Jimmi Jazz » sur leur premier album. Leur album live « Azken Guda Dantza » a été classé parmi les meilleurs concerts de
la décennie par la revue américaine Maximumrocknroll.

Suite à ce dernier concert le groupe se sépare et les frères Muguruza vont fonder Negu Gorriak (avec Kaki Arkarazo, Mikel - bassiste d' Anestesia et Mikel - batteur de BAP! ) et créer leur label,
Esan Ozenki.

Leur style s'oriente alors vers une fusion de plusieurs styles dont le rap avec une forte influence de Public Enemy et un rock plus puissant.

Santiago de Chile. Guachupé es una banda musical chilena que mezcla ritmos como el ska, rock latino, reggae y cumbia. La banda nació finales de 1999 en Santiago de Chile, cuando cuatro amigos
motivados por sus inquietudes musicales, decidieron formar la banda con el nombre de un personaje televisivo de los años 80's. Sus influencias musicales son variadas. En sus ritmos y melodías
puede reconocerse la ascendencia de bandas chilenas, sudamericanas y extranjeras.Guachupé forma parte del nuevo influjo musical surgido desde comienzos del siglo XXI en la zona central del Chile.
Sus letras aluden a las inquietudes y vivencias de jóvenes que habitan en un Chile que poco a poco trata de recuperar el tiempo perdido tras salir de un difícil proceso de dictadura y transición
democrática. Guachupé también se caracteriza por su especial relación con sus seguidores. Estos forman "La Hinchada Guachupé", que siguiendo el estilo de las barras de los equipos de fútbol,
sigue a la banda a todas partes donde toca, con lienzos y cánticos. De hecho, cuando el grupo se presentó en Cosquín Rock a comienzos de 2008 en Argentina, los acompañaron más de 70 miembros de
la "Hinchada".

You have to give these guys credit: no one can tell them that ska-punk is over. On their sixth album and 16 years into their musical career, Mustard Plug are still sticking with the verities:
sharp horn charts, big and crunchy guitars, vocals that are more enthusiastic than tuneful (though still fairly tuneful) and lots of gleefully skanking backbeats. "Gleeful" may not be not the
first word that comes to mind on listening to these songs, though. In Black and White opens in an up-tempo but dark mood, with the dour "Who Benefits?" followed by the even darker "Over the
Edge." "Hit Me! Hit Me!" brightens things up a bit and offers the album's first real hooks; by "You Can't Go Back" the band seems to have started seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and
"On and On," which is one of the album's strongest tracks, is also its most unapologetically poppy. This is where you can really hear Mustard Plug's 16 years of accumulated songcraft pay off.
Then they go out with a two-fisted bang: the snotty and hilarious "Real Rat Bastard" and the horn-heavy, singsongy "What You Say." Most ska-punk bands celebrate their maturity by breaking up;
this one shows signs of being in it for the long haul. Recommended.

"ESCASO APORTE es una banda de rock formada en 1997, en La Florida, Santiago de Chile. En su música mezcla rock, ska, reggae, punk, ritmos afrolatinos como cumbia, salsa, merengue, y otros estilos; sus letras apelan a la conciencia y crítica social. Sus tocatas son conocidas por ser verdaderas fiestas eufóricas, y cuenta con numerosos seguidores (la “Hinchada”). En el año 2002 lanzan su primer disco, “EA!”, y en 2006 el segundo, “Balas & Llamas”.

El grupo se ha hecho conocido en el circuito de bandas independientes gracias a su participación en numerosas y multitudinarias presentaciones en vivo, junto a diversas bandas, entre las cuales destacan Los Jaivas, Santo Barrio,Los Miserables, Fiskales Ad-hoc, Sandino Rockers, La Floripondio, Guachupé, Juanafé, La Conmoción, Chico Trujillo, Las Manos de Filippi, entre otros. Parte importante de las presentaciones de la banda es también su participación permanente en actividades y eventos de organizaciones sociales, ganándose el respeto y cariño de mucho público.

Durante 2006 la banda decide tomar el camino profesional, desarrollando para esto una rigurosidad mayor en lo musical y una organización planificada, adquiriendo un compromiso y voluntad de trabajar para vivir de nuestra actividad como banda."

Dix ans que Los Tres Puntos se sert de son sens de la débrouille pour évoluer au sein de la scène ska française, comme l’un de ses représentants les plus remarqués. Dix ans symbolisés par ce nouvel album, le troisième, toujours autoproduit. On ne change pas une équipe qui gagne , et sur le modèle de Aficionados et Si Oh!, 10 Ans Ferme! se dévoue au ska et à la fête. Toujours rapide, chanté en français, anglais ou espagnol, le ska de LTP est influencé par le 2-tone anglais et l’alternatif français (la Mano et Ludwig von 88, dont "Sur les Sentiers de la Gloire" est une reprise) davantage que par la scène jamaïcaine. Bien produit, 10 Ans Ferme! est comme ses prédécesseurs : il fonce tout droit pour privilégier la fête. Du coup, si les prestations live sont réputées pour mettre le feu, Los Tres Puntos a beaucoup plus de peine à séduire sur disque. Sauf si vous êtes un enragé de ska ultra sautillant (et vous êtes nombreux!), 10 Ans Ferme! vous plongera certainement dans la monotonie au bout de quelques morceaux, faute à ce tempo rapide quasi inchangé, qui ne laisse la place que trop rarement à un rythme plus chaloupé comme sur le très Madness "Fire Lips". Petite info locale : on retrouve quelques "célébrités" (!) de la scène punk/ska genevoise sur les chœurs de la reprise des Ludwig…

The story begins on the frontier. On August 25th 2007 in Dołhobyczów, on the eastern border of European Union, took place first “reconciliation concert”, European Bridge – Frontier 803. Many well known groups from Poland and Ukraine attended event, among them Haydamaky and Voo Voo. It was then, that Mirek Olszowka, Voo Voo manager, has hit upon an idea to unite those two elements into one musical being. Several months later bands started first jams together and on 20th of July played new, common program at Strefa Inne Brzmienia fest, created and produced by Mirek Olszówka. In autumn that year, both groups met in studio. Today you can taste the fruits of that session. Voo Voo and Haydamaky present true stories and truly men singing… The art of words and roots music. When talking about roots art, you have to keep in mind stability of attitudes and truths, their simple power, abundance of meanings, all metaphysical space – relations with human being, with God, love and the simplest, smiling affirmation of life. Their music is based mainly on Ukrainian repertoire, which is in natural way inspired by Balkan roots, scales an rhythms but it also grows from very rich rock style. Artists show the most expressive part of their music – devotion to their tradition, to music of roots combined with tremendous energy and deep imagination. Haydamaky and Voo Voo music is transformation of that what comes directly from national roots and ethnic traditions. It is also artistic reinterpretation of their personal experience and of western music. Voo Voo is acting like musical filter and emotional Haydamaky play builds on it. It should be added however, that this music would not reach such form without Voo Voo – one of the most all-round Polish band. And Voo Voo would not be itself if it did not add something own to it. It is thanks to sensitivity of Mateusz Pospieszalski – record producer as well as author and composer of a few songs from it – that we can safely speak about coherence of music material and - many a time – some astonishing points of it. Voo Voo seems to be an ideal partner for this encounter. It is a well known brand, but it is also wide open to resign from its own style and conform to the rules of the space it is just dealing with. The Project has also substantial overtone going beyond the art activity. It draws public attention to natural need for closeness in Polish-Ukrainian relations and a wall on frontier that bars from it. How deep are the rivers we have yet to cross? This is a significant question, both to traditional and contemporary culture. „When I started my own project Inne Brzmienia (Other Tones), I decided to create multicultural, international event, connecting artists and audiences from different musical scenes. This idea brought collection of prestigious records. One of them we present you now. Second part of the project is an annual international Inne Brzmienia fest. I would like, our festival could be the open place for presentation of ambitious and unique music, meetings of artists and public, discussions, artistic workshops, paintings, photography and movies shows. Its first edition took place in July 2008, in Lublin. Then, at the unique and thrilling concert, joint bands of Voo Voo and Hydamaky played for the first time together” - Mirek „Kiton” Olszówka says.
